The South Hills neighborhood is defined by Miller Creek Road, 39th street, and Highview Drive. It overlooks the city of Missoula and features Chief Charlo Elementary school, Skyview park, and close proximity to shopping, restaurants and the best wings in town (The Desperado). The amazing Playfair Park complex is also close. There are a number of affordable condos in the area with prices starting in the high $300,000's.
In 2024 the average price eased a touch to $510,433 ($515,000 median), typical market time was 54 days, and 61 properties sold. Of note, sellers averaged a 99% list to sales price ratio due to demand.

For 2022 the average price was skewed due to a large parcel sale so the median is a better indicator at $497,500. The average days on market was 55, and 88 homes sold.
In 2021 the average sales price was $446,524 ($432,263 median) and took 50 days to sell. A total of 120 homes sold.
For 2020 the average price was $337,012 with an average of 64 days on the market and a volume of 161 sales for the year.
